CONGRATULATIONS! Your artwork has been selected for the 17th Annual ISAP Open International Exhibition! We are proud of the high caliber of artwork submitted and selected for this year’s exhibition. As noted in the prospectus, your accepted jpeg will remain in the permanent ISAP archives and published on our website. If your painting is chosen for an award, you will be contacted by email as soon as possible after the awards reception. Awards will be selected July 31 before the Official Opening. Awards Presentation takes place during the Public Reception on Saturday, August 2, 5pm-9pm (awards announced at 5:30pm). Cash awards will be mailed directly while merchandise/materials awards as well as catalogs, Signature Membership Certificates, and sponsor materials will be included in your return shipping box or when you pick up your painting at the close of the show.

Please note the commission structure is 40% to the host Gallery in Paso Robles. Any work sent marked as not for sale or price on request will not be eligible for an award. Please go the ISAP website and print the shipping instructions at www.isap-online.com/17th_exhibition/17th_shipping.html.

Having been accepted into this show you are eligible to become a Signature Member of ISAP.  If you are not currently a member of ISAP you may join the Society as an Associate Member by completing the online registration at https://isap-online.wildapricot.org/join and pay the annual membership fee of $45.00. Following that, send an email to members@isap-online.com to request that your membership be promoted to Signature level. Please include your full name and title of the accepted work. ISAP Associate Members may also request Signature membership during this same period.  All requests must be received before the close of the show on August 25, 2014.

 If you become an ISAP Signature Member you are also eligible to participate in the Online International Signature Show (juror to be announced) in the fall of 2014. We will once again be using jpeg applications through CallForEntry.org. Check www.isap-online.com for submission dates.

SHIPPING AND PACKING INSTRUCTIONS              

  1. Artwork must be ready to hang with wire hanging materials strong enough to support the painting.  No other hanging materials, including sawtooth hangers will be accepted.  Works on paper must be framed under Plexiglas.  NO GLASS will be accepted.  Framed works must be in solid wood/metal frames, plain profile in black, gold or silver.  Mats must be neutral – no colored mats will be accepted.  Unframed canvas must be gallery wrapped and/or painted on all four sides.  PRAA and ISAP reserve the right to refuse any artwork that does not conform to the above standards or conform to the eligibility standards outlined in the prospectus.  Any refused artwork will be returned at the artist’s expense.

  2. Attach the ISAP label to the UPPER LEFT CORNER on the back of your painting.  Be sure the label is clearly and legibly marked and that all information is correct.

  3. Clearly mark your shipping box with your name, address, phone number; put the title of the artwork on an outside edge of the shipping box. Use bubble wrap and clear plastic sheeting for moisture and temperature protection. Airfloat (800-445-2580) systems crates are highly recommended.  NO STYROFOAM PEANUTS OR POPCORN! PRAA will store and repack artwork using the original packing materials. If your material cannot be saved, PRAA will use a reasonable substitute and charge you for the replacement. If there are special instructions for packaging, please include them inside the package or crate.

  4. The Painting must arrive no earlier than 7/21/14 and no later than 7/25/14. This is a 5-day window. Walk in delivery will be 7/27/14 from 12noon to 3pm at The Showroom gallery, 1130 Pine Street, Paso Robles, CA.  Late entries may not be exhibited. Ship your work to:

Please include UPS or FEDEX PREPAID shipping paperwork, including return label plus handling fee of $25 made out to Janice Pluma. NO CODs. International checks or money orders must be able to be drawn on United States banks. Place the check and the prepaid shipping form in an envelope attached to the picture wire of your entry. (Return label may also be in a secure envelope attached to the outside of the carton and clearly marked as such). RETURN FORM MUST HAVE SHIPPING COMPANY BAR CODE, READY TO SCAN. BAR CODES CANNOT BE ISSUED IN PASO ROBLES. Also include your bio papers if participating in the Gallery Book.

  1. Exhibition closes August 24, 2014. Hand delivered pick up, Aug. 24, 3pm to 6pm. Shipping of artwork begins August 25.

The Showroom gallery is in the rear of the Studios on the Park building (1130 Pine St.). Entries will be accepted here. If traveling to Paso Robles from the north on Highway 101, take the Spring Street exit, travel south to 12th Street, turn left on 12th, then right on Pine. Pine Street is approximately two blocks from Spring St. on the east side of the City Park square. Studios on the Park is in the center of the block across from the Park. Parking is on the streets surrounding the City Park.  If you need assistance in finding the gallery, call Janice Pluma, 805-423-8939.

If traveling to Paso Robles from the south on Highway 101, take the Spring Street exit, travel north to 12th Street, turn right on 12th, then right on Pine. Studios and galleries are open to the public Thursdays through Sundays. Summer Hours: Thurs. & Sun., noon to 6PM • Fri. & Sat. noon to 9PM.

  1. Exhibition ends August 24. Pick up hand delivered work Aug. 24 from 3pm to 6pm.
